Mystique offers every bridal couple the chance to enter into a lifelong partnership in a tranquil and romantic bush setting. You will feel like you are tucked away in virgin bush, yet you and your guests are conveniently situated within city limits.

Package

To make it as simple and as easy as possible for the bride and groom, we have worked out a package price which includes the venue fee, catering and the hire of basic equipment. These packages only apply for functions up to 300 people, a quote will be drawn up for bigger crowds. A deposit of $5 per person is payable to confirm your date.
(we regret outside catering is not permitted)

    Catering

    We have an in house, very experienced chef and we pride ourselves in the top quality of the standard of our food. We therefore do not allow outside caterer’s food to be brought onto the premises. If you wish to bring in imported figs, preserves, cheeses, etc or anything that we cannot ourselves provide, we are happy to accommodate your request.
    • Our menus are interchangeable to accommodate your personal requirements.
    • No special menus are available for kids.
    • We reserve the right to change the menu slightly should any of the ingredients be unavailable or out of season.
    • Please note that the menus below are just a guideline, and we are open to any ideas, suggestions or changes you would like to make.

    Welcome Drinks

    The following options are available at an additional cost, for while you are having your photos taken:
    Non-alcoholic Punch US$1 per person
    Alcoholic Punch US$1.5 per person

    Bar

    Mystique offers a full bar service. We do offer a wide range of imported wines and champagne for sale, but if you prefer to bring your own wine or champagne, corkage rates will apply.

    Bar options:

    • Cash bar: guests to pay for their own drinks
    • Limit bar: a limit to be set on the total bar spent, for your account. Regular updates available from the barmen. This amount is to be settled before the function.
    • If you want to supply all of your own drinks, we will still run the bar for you, chill all your drinks and supply all the ice, but the following corkage rates will apply. If you chose this option, drinks have to be dropped off no later than a day before the wedding & corkage bill needs to be settled before the wedding takes place.

    Cut-Off Times

    The venue will be available from 08h00 on the day of the function for setup. Rental equipment, etc can be brought on site 2 days before the function unless there is another function over that period.
    • Brunch Weddings: 08h00 – 17h00
    • Lunch Weddings: 10h00 - 22h00
    • Afternoon Weddings: 24h00

    Terms & Conditions

    Payment

    • To confirm and secure your venue, a deposit of $5 per person is payable
    • All outstanding payments to be settled 7 days before the event.
    • Mystique, reserves the right to cancel a function should all outstanding amounts not be paid timeously as indicated above.
    • Fuel for the backup generator is charged @ $25 / hour. The total used will be subtracted from your breakage deposit.

    Loss / Damage

    • Should the Wedding Venue be delayed in or prevented from hosting the above mentioned wedding, owing to an act of God, war, civil disturbance, requisitioning, government to parliamentary restrictions, prohibition or enactment of any kind, fire, accident or any other cause whatsoever beyond our control, the venue shall be entitled to cancel or suspend the above mentioned wedding without incurring any liability for any loss or damage resulting there from.
    • Neither the wedding venue nor its agents or employees shall be liable for any damages or loss which may be caused to any of the goods of the customer, its employees or invitees brought onto the premises for whatever reason, nor for any injury or loss of life of the customer or its employees however caused.
    • Should any damages occur to the buildings, gardens, décor, linen, glassware, crockery, etc, during the function, the client shall be held responsible and billed accordingly. To cover this, a breakage deposit of US$200 will be charged per wedding.
    • This will either be deducted from any outstanding payments or reimbursed to you after the wedding, should there be no breakages.
    • Hiring Equipment shall be the sole risk of the hirer.
    • Please note that no bridal cars are allowed to drive on the lawns. There is a designated drop off point where the bridal team are to be dropped off.

    Cancellation Policy

    • In the event of non-payment of the venue hire fees within the time specified, Mystique is entitled to cancel a provisional booking without further notice or liability to the client.
    • Should a function be cancelled once the deposit has been paid, the deposit will only be refunded once the date has been re-booked by another function.
    • This refund will be made less 15% handling fee and should the venue not be re-booked, the full payments received will be forfeited.
    • If bookings in peak months (April, August, September & December) are postponed with less than 3 months notice, the deposit shall also be forfeited unless the date is re-booked.
    • Please confirm all changes and function cancellations in writing.
